All invited to Ballylongford to turn on the Christmas Lights Saturday Dec 1st at 7.30 Church Gate, Ballylongford. Join in the Carol singing with our excellent choirs. Great prizes for the best Christmas costume so wear your Christmas hat. Guest appearance from Santa and Mrs Clause. Be early for mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies. Ballylongford Tidy Towns / Light Up Bally groups and the community have done great work.

Kerry County Clean Up April 9th / 14th April 2018
Ballylongford Tidy Towns and The Ballylongford Community did a great job this week with picking up litter in The Village, Ballyline, Lenamore, Pulleen, Saleen Pier, Aghanagran, Carrig Island, Carrig Road, Carrigafoyle Castle, Ballymacksey and Lislaughtin.

On Saturday morning 18th November 2017 in the mist and damp, we had a marvellous tour of Bally.
Frank Lewis recording for Radio Kerry, explored the marvels of the special attractions- Sport, History, Education, Music, Scenery, and Leisure.
SPLINTERS – a collection of poems by Mary Kennelly and paintings by Brenda Fitzmaurice seeks to strip away centuries of theology and tell the gospel story through a focus on humanity. In delving into the Gospel story, Brenda and Mary draw from their own place and people. The influence of their place is evident in walking around Mary’s home town of Ballylongford.

MONDAY 10TH APRIL 2017
Ballylongford, Co.Kerry, Brochure, Heritage Trail and App: Ballylongford Snaps and Tarbert, Co.Kerry, Brochure and Heritage Trail were launched with the support of Kerry County Council.
The Brochures were officially launched by Siobhán King of Fáilte Ireland at the Kerry County Council Listowel Municipal District offices in Listowel.
Members and staff of Kerry County Council and representatives of Ballylongford Tidy Towns and Tarbert Development Association were in attendance.
